The problem isn’t that people don’t want to be disciplined or self-controlled.
They do. Many would love to eat less, exercise more, and live longer.
Or, to defeat addictions, get finances under control, or spend less
time on the Internet. But, for all our desire to be more personally
disciplined, we live in a culture of vanishing self-control.
Addictions, debt, and poor health rule too many lives.

In a new series, beginning October 5, Pastor Chris Brauns will
explain a Christ-centered foundation for self-control.
Through biblical teaching, he will show how the
foundation of a disciplined life begins with Christ
and his power as the wind in our sails.

“Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man
who lacks self-control (Proverbs 25:28, NIV).”

Services are 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday mornings.
Children’s Sunday School is at 9 a.m. and
a nursery is provided during both services.
